Ability to Benefit (ATB) explained: The US Department of Education policy says a school (post secondary school) can accept you without a high school diploma or a GED and you can apply for financial aid if you pass an approved ATB (ability to benefit) assessment test! This test must consist of verbal and mathematics skills at a high school level.
